The Aeroclub Ushuaia has the deep regret to inform its members and the whole community that, on this day, while carrying out a normal training work, due to causes that are being tried to establish, the new school plane of the institution, whose registration is LV-FFC, fell to the ground.
At the time of the emergency, the aircraft was under the command of Flight Instructor Martin GUARDAMAGNA , in a routine flight with the student pilot Fabian ESTEFO. Both were unharmed with no personal injuries.
The stricken aircraft, a recently acquired 125 HP Piper PA-28-112 Tomahawk, has some damage to its propeller, fuselage and tail.
The aeronautical authority has been immediately informed, and the National Administration of Civil Aviation has been directly involved, foreseeing the arrival of the investigators of the Civil Aviation Accident Investigation Board in the early hours of tomorrow, April 17.
